Post 9/11 Context

In the post 9/11 context , such precautions, enabled Al-Qaeda to establish training camps outside or Afghanistan . These were not always large facilities in Europe, camps can be located in private places where Al Qaeda instructors import mission specific training such as timing , dismantling and sorting weapons and concealing them about the person or in a safe house.

The media and communication committee disseminates Al Qaeda news or information in support of its military and political activities. Khalid al-Fawwaz , is alleged to have established an Al Qaeda press office for Europe in London in 1984 , operating under the name and ownership of the Advice and Reformation Committee (ARC). The committee at Al Qaeda headquarters published an Arabic daily Nashrat al -Akhbar ( Newscast) and a weekly report disseminating news about Al Qaeda , Islam in the world , Jihad and related issues. The newspapers were printed in Hayatabad in Showa City, Afghanistan and Abu Mussah nicknamed “Reuters” for his effectiveness as a journalist and propogandist, headed this committee.
